The most important thing is the structure. Use reverse chronology, starting with your most recent job. It is important for the employer to understand what you are currently doing, in what context you find yourself, and what tasks you are solving. Specify not only the year but also the month when you started and ended each position. The format “2022–2023” without details raises questions. How long exactly did you work? Three months or one and a half years? Such detailing helps avoid misunderstandings. When describing your experience, do not limit yourself to responsibilities. It's better if you specifically indicate the technologies you worked with, what tasks you solved, and what results you achieved. Numbers are always a plus. Not just "organized events," but "held 5 conferences and 15 seminars for 30 employees." Show what processes you improved, what results you achieved; this is what helps you stand out. If you are changing professions, explain why. Tell where you want to grow, what brought you to the new field. Specify your current level - Junior, Middle, or other. This will help the employer assess you correctly. If you combine work with study, run several projects, or are just starting, do not hide this. It is reality, and it is understandable. Specify the employment format: remote, office, flexible schedule, readiness to relocate. The employer will immediately understand how well you match. Education is not just a diploma. In 2025, additional courses, certificates, internships are valued just as much. Especially if you are mastering a new field. Show that you are learning. This speaks of your awareness and motivation. Languages and skills are your assets. Do not hesitate to indicate them, especially if you have practical experience applying them. Specify: not just “English,” but “English B2, used in negotiations.” Now about the “header” in and for the resume. Indicate your full name, city, contacts, and most importantly - who you are and what you are looking for. A short paragraph of 2–3 lines will give a clear idea: “Experienced marketer with a focus on digital and analytics. Looking for a position in an international company with a strong team and growth prospects.” The same logic applies to contacts. Do not limit yourself to one messenger. Add email, phone, link to LinkedIn or a professional profile. Be sure to check that you can be contacted without restrictions. Photograph Yes, I’m for it! Not a selfie in a car and not a photo from the beach. But a calm, confident portrait with an open gaze. The employer will find you on social media anyway. Let the first visual impression work for you. And finally, spelling. One mistake and it seems that you were in a hurry, did not check, did not think. And if you are careless in your resume… how will you approach your work? Remember: the resume is your voice on paper. Let it sound clear, honest, and to the point.
